What to Order at T-Rex in Disney Springs

T-Rex in Disney Springs leans hard into the prehistoric theme, but there’s actual value behind the gimmick—especially in the food. If you’re not in the mood for a full entrée, the sampler appetizer and the French onion soup are worth your time.

The sampler appetizer is enough to feed a small herd. You get a solid spread—boneless wings, quesadillas, mozzarella sticks, and onion rings. Nothing groundbreaking, but it’s hot, well-seasoned, and made for sharing. Wings have a decent kick. Quesadillas aren’t greasy. Everything’s cooked right, not microwaved like some theme spots. French onion soup is a surprise win. Rich broth, not overly salty. Melted cheese blanket over the top—bubbled, not rubbery. Croutons inside hold up well without turning to mush. Feels like something you’d get at a steakhouse, not a dinosaur-themed tourist stop.

The food holds up, even if you’re just there for the atmosphere. Service can be hit or miss depending on crowd levels, but these two dishes show the kitchen knows what it’s doing.
