Stopped in at El Mezcal in Mount Dora and had the beef enchiladas — all three of them. No regrets.
The enchiladas came out hot, with generous portions of tender, seasoned beef wrapped in soft corn tortillas. Sauce was rich and flavorful without overpowering the dish. Melted cheese on top pulled everything together.
Service was quick and friendly. Food arrived fast, and the server checked in just the right amount.
The restaurant is clean, casual, and easy to get to right off 441. Solid spot if you’re craving Mexican food that hits the mark without trying too hard.
I’ll be back for round two. Maybe the chimichangas next time.
