When it comes to laid-back dining with great food and a welcoming atmosphere, That Place in Eustis is one of those spots that instantly wins you over. It’s the kind of restaurant where the service feels personal, the drinks are strong, and the food is made with care — everything you want in a local favorite.
Our visit started off right with Florida Teas — refreshing, flavorful, and perfectly mixed. They had just the right balance of sweetness and kick, making them an ideal way to start the evening. We also grabbed an Ultra Bucket, which kept the drinks flowing and the table lively. It’s a solid value for anyone who enjoys a cold beer and good company.
For dinner, we went with the Margarita Flatbread, customized no tomato and add meatballs. That combination turned out to be a fantastic choice — cheesy, flavorful, and loaded with the perfect amount of toppings. The meatballs added a hearty twist that made the flatbread feel extra satisfying. Every bite was crisp on the bottom and melty on top — the mark of a kitchen that knows its craft.
Service from Lace was spot-on — friendly, attentive, and efficient without ever feeling rushed. You could tell she cared about making sure everything came out just right.
The total came to about $75, including tax and a small non-cash adjustment — a completely fair price for the food, drinks, and great service we enjoyed.
Whether you’re stopping by after work, grabbing dinner with friends, or just looking for a local gem that delivers both quality and comfort, That Place is exactly that — the place to be. Between the great drinks, delicious food, and welcoming service, it’s a must-visit spot in Eustis.
