Fried Shrimp and Scallops at Jeremiah’s in Mount Dora
On this visit to Jeremiah’s Restaurant & Bar in Mount Dora, Florida, I went with the fried shrimp and scallop basket, and it’s an order I would happily repeat. The golden coating gave the seafood that satisfying fried crunch, and the shrimp and scallops were packed with flavor. Having both in one basket made it even better—why choose between shrimp and scallops when you can enjoy both?
With a generous helping of fries alongside the seafood, this was exactly the kind of meal I was hoping for. Sometimes you finish an order and immediately start thinking about getting it again next time. That was this basket for me. If you enjoy fried seafood, this one is worth trying.
A Look at the Upstairs Seating Area
Jeremiah’s also has plenty of character, and the upstairs seating area gives you a good look at what makes the place memorable. Wooden beams, colorful lighting, and model airplanes hanging overhead give you something to notice in every direction. It’s a setting that fits right in with the relaxed spirit of Pirate Life Uncharted.
This visit gave me another reason to come back. The fried shrimp and scallop basket was delicious, and I would absolutely order it again.
