We stopped into Grandpa Joe’s Candy Shop in downtown Leesburg, and this place is packed with candy, nostalgic favorites, unusual treats, and fun little finds.

So Much Candy to Browse
The shelves are filled with colorful candy, gummies, chocolates, bottled sodas, and treats you don’t see every day. There’s plenty to look at, and it’s easy to leave with a bag full of goodies.

What I Brought Home
I picked out chocolates from the display, including crème brûlée, raspberry cheesecake, Bananas Foster, and peanut butter truffles. All the chocolates were yummy!
I also bought a cotton candy cake. I’ve tried the cotton candy cake before, and it’s literally as heavenly as it looks! I picked up 4D Gummy Crystal Jewels, some NeeDoh Nice-Sicle squishy toys, and Cocoa Cluck chocolate chicken legs in Homestyle and Maple Waffle flavors. Yes, candy that looks like fried chicken legs!

A Fun Downtown Leesburg Stop
If you’re spending time in downtown Leesburg and have a sweet tooth, Grandpa Joe’s is a fun place to browse. I loved the chocolates, and the cotton candy cake is a favorite from a previous visit. It’s an easy stop to add to a day exploring downtown. For another Leesburg stop, check out our Florida Porch Cafe lunch review, or browse more ideas in our Florida restaurant guides.
