Crumps Landing
Crumps Landing is the more memorable stop if you want the full waterfront Florida experience. The river setting gave the whole evening a mini-vacation feel, and our table covered everything from steak tacos and seared scallops to hush puppies, cocktails, beer, and kids’ food.
If we were bringing someone to Homosassa for the first time and wanted the setting itself to be part of the experience, Crumps would be the easy choice from the places we’ve tried so far.
Old Mill Tavern
Old Mill Tavern was a completely different kind of stop: wings, fries, chicken tenders, beer, Lemon Drop shots, and a relaxed neighborhood-tavern atmosphere.
It worked for us because it did not try to be anything fancy. If you want straightforward bar food, cold drinks, and an easygoing local feel, that is where Old Mill fits.

For a waterfront dinner or a place that feels more like part of the trip itself, Crumps Landing. For wings, drinks, and a casual tavern stop, Old Mill Tavern. They serve different purposes, which is why both can make sense depending on the day.
