We’ve stayed at both Signia by Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek and Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort Bonnet Creek. They sit in the same general Disney-area resort environment, but our experiences had different strengths. If we were choosing between them again, this is how we would think about it.

Our Quick Take
- For room comfort and a quieter stay: Signia by Hilton Bonnet Creek
- For a family trip built around the pool: Wyndham Grand Bonnet Creek
- Biggest Signia downside for us: on-property food pricing
- Biggest Wyndham downside for us: elevator congestion around checkout
Room Comfort: Signia Had the Edge for Us
Our Signia stay was quiet, clean, and comfortable, and the bed was one of the better hotel beds we’ve had on a trip. That mattered because a great pool does not help much if nobody sleeps well afterward.
Our Wyndham Grand room was also clean and modern during our stay, with a comfortable mattress, plenty of outlets, and decent water pressure. We were happy with it, but the Signia bed and quiet room stood out more.
Pool Experience: Wyndham Was the Family Favorite
The pirate-themed pool at Wyndham Grand was the biggest reason we would consider returning for a family-focused trip. The water features and splash areas kept the kids entertained, and the pool itself felt like part of the vacation rather than just another hotel amenity.
Signia also had an attractive pool area, but our Wyndham experience was more memorable when the goal was spending a large part of the day at the resort.
Cabanas and Pool Days
We liked the cabana option at Wyndham for a longer pool day. Shade, a mini-fridge, and a dedicated place to keep everything together made the day easier. If the pool is a major part of your itinerary, that kind of setup can matter more than it sounds.
Food Costs: Signia Was the Bigger Concern
Our main issue at Signia was the price of eating on property. The food itself was fine, but the resort pricing was high enough that on a longer stay we would intentionally plan some meals elsewhere.
Checkout: Wyndham Needs a Little Planning
The biggest frustration at Wyndham was elevator traffic during checkout. When a lot of guests were leaving at the same time, the waits became annoying. If we stayed again and had flexibility, we would try to leave before the main checkout rush.
Location
Both properties worked well for our Orlando theme-park plans. For us, neither location created a major disadvantage compared with the other, so the choice comes down more to the type of hotel experience you want.
Which Would We Choose?
If the trip were mostly about comfortable rooms, a quieter reset, and being close to the parks, we would lean toward Signia. If we were planning a family trip where the hotel pool was going to be a major part of the vacation, Wyndham Grand would have the edge for us.
There is no universal winner here. The better choice depends on whether room comfort or the resort pool experience matters more for your trip.
