Wave – Asian Bistro in Mount Dora delivered a solid lunch. I stopped by for a quick bite and left full and satisfied.
Here’s what I tried:
Soda: Standard but served cold and fast.
Wonton Chips (Side): Crisp, salty, and a good light starter.
Orange Chicken Hibachi Bowl (Large): Portion was generous. The fried rice was hot and fresh. Chicken had a nice glaze—sweet but not cloying.
Spicy Butter Krab Bao Buns: These were the standout. Soft buns, rich crab filling, just enough spice.
Bento Box: I’d recommend the teriyaki chicken version. Comes with rice, California roll, salad, and a dumpling. Good value and balanced.
Service was quick and polite. Prices are reasonable for the portion sizes and variety. Great place to mix sushi, hibachi, and small bites all in one meal.
If you’re in Mount Dora and want variety without overpaying, Wave is worth a stop.
