Marmadukes Lodge in Leesburg has given us two very different reasons to come back: a flavorful burger lunch and a separate visit for pizza by the slice. Both were casual, well executed, and backed by friendly service.
Quick Take
The Black & Blue Smash Melt gave us a strong burger-and-fries lunch, while the pizza slices on another visit were hot, crisp, and loaded with toppings. For us, Marmadukes works well as a relaxed local stop in Leesburg.
Black & Blue Smash Melt
The Single Stack Black & Blue Smash Melt was the star of our burger visit. The blackened seasoning and blue cheese gave it a bold flavor without making the burger feel overloaded. Fries with American cheese made for a straightforward, comforting side.
That lunch came to just over $20 before tip, and Matt provided smooth, prompt service.
Pizza by the Slice
On a different visit, we tried two pizza slices: pepperoni with black olives and pepperoni with green peppers. Both came out hot with a crisp crust and balanced toppings.
Service and Overall Experience
Service stood out on both visits. The pizza stop was especially welcoming and fast, while the burger lunch was equally smooth. That consistency matters more to us than flashy presentation.
Bottom Line
Marmadukes Lodge is a place we would revisit for either a burger or a quick pizza stop. The food has been satisfying, the service friendly, and the pricing reasonable during our visits.
