Our Leesburg restaurant stops have covered a surprisingly wide range: sushi and hibachi, pizza, burgers, sandwiches, diner comfort food, and Chinese takeout. This guide brings those real visits together in one place.

Quick Picks
- Sushi and hibachi: Kawachi
- Sandwiches: McCracken’s
- Pizza and burgers: Marmadukes Lodge
- Diner-style comfort food: Wolfy’s
- Chinese takeout: China Garden — a mixed visit for us
Kawachi
Kawachi gave us one of the most varied Leesburg lunches: spicy sushi, hibachi combinations, and a filet mignon lunch. The ability to do both sushi and hibachi well made it easy for a table with different preferences.
McCracken’s
McCracken’s stood out for sandwiches. We tried fried fish, corned beef, and pot roast, with the pot roast sandwich becoming our favorite of the three.
On a later visit with friends, we also tried McCracken’s new meat pies, which were the clear highlight of that meal. You can read about them in our McCracken’s meat pies review.
Marmadukes Lodge
Marmadukes Lodge has worked for us on two different kinds of visits: a Black & Blue Smash Melt lunch and a separate pizza-by-the-slice stop. Friendly service was consistent across both.
Wolfy’s
Wolfy’s is the no-frills comfort-food option on this list. Our country fried steak with brown gravy, mashed potatoes, corn, and garlic toast was filling, familiar, and reasonably priced during our visit.
China Garden
China Garden was the most mixed experience of the group. The egg roll and fried rice were fine, while the sweet-and-sour chicken and beef on a stick were weaker for us. We would be more selective if ordering again.
Where Would We Go First?
Kawachi if we want sushi or hibachi. McCracken’s if a big sandwich sounds right. Marmadukes for pizza or a burger. Wolfy’s for classic diner-style comfort food. Those four give you very different kinds of meals without having to leave Leesburg.
We’ll keep updating this Leesburg restaurant guide as we try more places around town.
