Fried fish sandwich at McCracken’s in Leesburg Florida

McCracken’s in Leesburg was a strong sandwich stop for us, with generous portions, friendly service, and a relaxed local atmosphere.

Quick Take

The fried fish sandwich, corned beef sandwich, and pot roast sandwich all delivered, but the pot roast sandwich was our favorite of the three.

Fried Fish Sandwich

The fish was crisp outside, flaky inside, and arrived hot without feeling greasy. The portion was generous enough to make it a filling lunch.

Corned Beef and Pot Roast

The corned beef sandwich had plenty of tender meat without being overly fatty. The pot roast sandwich was the standout for us: juicy, rich, and satisfying, with a roll that held up well to the filling.

Service and Atmosphere

Tiffany kept drinks filled and service moving without hovering. The place had an easygoing feel that worked for a casual lunch or a drink.

Bottom Line

McCracken’s gave us good sandwiches, fair portions, and friendly service. We would come back, especially for the pot roast sandwich.
