China Garden Leesburg Review: A Mixed Takeout Experience

Our China Garden Leesburg review covers chicken fried rice, egg rolls, sweet-and-sour chicken, beef on a stick, and what we would order differently.

Chinese takeout from China Garden in Leesburg Florida

Our China Garden takeout in Leesburg was mixed. A couple of items were perfectly fine, but others missed enough that we would be selective about what we ordered next time.

Quick Take

The egg roll was crisp and the chicken fried rice was acceptable with soy sauce, but the sweet-and-sour chicken was heavy on breading and the beef on a stick was dry and tough during our visit.

What We Ordered

Our order included chicken fried rice, an egg roll, sweet-and-sour chicken, and beef on a stick.

What Worked

The fried rice was not greasy and had decent pieces of chicken, although we thought it needed soy sauce for more flavor. The egg roll arrived hot and crisp.

What Missed

The sweet-and-sour chicken felt heavier on breading than meat, and the beef on a stick was the weakest item for us because it was dry and difficult to chew.

Bottom Line

This was an average takeout experience for us. We might order selected items again, but we would skip the beef on a stick based on this visit.
