Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort Bonnet Creek worked especially well for us as a family stay because the pool area gave the kids plenty to do while keeping us close to Disney.
Quick Take
The pirate-themed pool, cabanas, comfortable rooms, and location were the strengths. Our biggest frustration was the elevator congestion around checkout time.
Pirate-Themed Pool
The pool was the main attraction for our family. Water features and splash areas kept the kids entertained for hours, and the pool deck still felt manageable even when it was busy.
Cabanas
For a full pool day, we thought the cabanas were worth considering. The shade, mini-fridge, and dedicated place to recharge made the day easier.
Rooms and Location
Our room was clean, modern, and comfortable with a good mattress, plenty of outlets, and decent water pressure. The location made it convenient for Disney without staying directly inside a park hotel.
Checkout Tip
The biggest issue we ran into was elevator traffic during checkout. When many guests were leaving at the same time, waits became frustrating. If our schedule allowed it, we would leave earlier next time.
Would We Stay Again?
Yes, especially for a trip where pool time is part of the plan. We would simply plan checkout more carefully. See how it stacks up against Signia in our Bonnet Creek hotel comparison.
